Tanzania inaugurated its first EASA Part-66 B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance Training Program at NIT through collaboration between Aerolink, NIT and AATO.
On 7 October 2025, Tanzania officially inaugurated its first EASA Part-66 B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance Training Program at the National Institute of Transport (NIT) in Dar es Salaam.
The programme was launched through a partnership between Aerolink Solutions Tanzania Ltd, the National Institute of Transport (NIT), and Athens Aviation Training Organization (AATO).
The inauguration established NIT as an EASA Part-66 Offsite Centre, enabling aspiring aircraft maintenance engineers to access internationally aligned training and approved EASA examinations in Tanzania.
The initiative represents an important milestone in aviation education and professional development in Tanzania.
